04/25/08 Artist of the Week at UCLA
My new single Come on Home has been getting lots of airplay on UCLA radio and DJ Octoon's show "I'm in a Band and so am I". This week I was selected artist of the week and the song will be a feature on UCLAradio.com. Thanks to all who support this independent artists show and request my music. The show airs on Sunday evenings from 8-10pm Pacific Time at www.uclaradio.com.

Two new songs are now available for mp3 downloads."Come on Home" a song about returning to your center, and "I love you" (self explanatory:-) were written in 2007 and much enjoyed by crowds around the country during the 2007 tour. 01/31/07 The closing of Xando.
In December 2007, Xando Coffee & Bar in Charles Village Baltimore closed it's doors for good. This meant the end of Friday Night Sounds Acoustic at this venue. Thanks to all the fans who made this weekly event the beautiful gathering that it was. For more information on what's next, please come back soon, and visit the shows page for new events.

With just a guitar and his rich, soulful vocals, the Baltimore based and Nigerian born Ka-Chi has released a very impressive debut consisting of 5 tunes that often walk the line with a sound reminiscent of the acoustic sides of Bob Marley and Ben Harper (the last cut on the disc is a great cover of Marley's "Redemption Song"). With a delivery that's very confident and laid-back, Soul Liberty - demo sessions shows that he is just as impressive lyrically as he is musically with lyrics dealing with subjects like life, relationships and taking control of your destiny. With a demo this good I can't wait to hear what Ka-Chi has in store for us next....
